More Proof

That the conventional wisdom about reporters is accurate. When I was in high school, the thinking was that if you wanted easy grades at college, you majored in journalism.

That policy continues to bear fruit.

I cringe every time I read an AP article about a Supreme Court decision. Every time.

This is linking to a Get Religion article about Sarah Palin that doesn't have anything to do with a Supreme Court decision. Or maybe it is linking to the site generally and they have posted this new article after the one you meant?

Sorry, I was less than clear.

The point I was making is that the press can seem to get even the simplest story correct. It isn't so much that they are partisan, although they are, it's that they are dimwitted and ignorant to a shocking degree.

Yep,the media's legal illiteracy is appalling.

I can't count the number of times I've heard some moron on TV or the radio say that "the court found X to be unconstitutional" when, in fact, the court found that X was not protected by the constitution.
