Question

Here's a thought experiment:

If everyone who did not believe the creeds left the Episcopal Church, how many would be left? What about the Anglican Church of Canada? Or the Church of England?

And more to the point, would a greater percentage of the laity be left or of the clergy?

Just how many Christians are left in those churches?

And of those who are not Christians, how many know that they are not Christians?

Good questions. Scary questions when you contemplate the suspected answers, but certainly questions that need to be asked.

I just know that we've decided to leave the Episcopalian Church because we couldn't find a church that believed in Christ.

My older brother did that over twenty years ago. I'm a bit more conservative and resisted the evidence.
