Culinary Moral Imperative

It's not often that ethics and cuisine coincide, but I think that's the case here. The very idea of a meat cake demands that such a thing be made. The only question is which of my friends and family are worthy of such an object of awe and wonder.

I will make a meat cake this year. It's a clear moral imperative. The only questions that remain are when, for whom and how many.
